New Updates to General Banking Conditions Announced

The Consumers’ organisation has announced that the legal level of consumer protection is now so high that agreements with sector organisations in two-sided (= approved by the Consumers’ organisation) general terms and conditions are no longer necessary. That is why the Consumers’ organisation has terminated its connectedness to all two-sided general terms and conditions as of 1 January 2024. As of this date, the Consumers’ Organization is no longer engaged in the general banking conditions. This applies not only to the general banking conditions, but to all approximately sixty two-sided general terms and conditions agreed with sector organisations.
